This is Franca, a local denizen of Playa Blanca. Franca is originally from La Spezia, Italy. She moved to Cody, Wyoming ( war bride ) where she opened and operated an Italian restaurant for 20 years. Franca has since retired to Playa Blanca but can't stop cooking...I know the feeling. Every Sunday Franca opens her home and serves up a 4 course Northern Italian meal. Enchanted by my enthusiasm, she agreed to give me a fresh pasta making lesson. It was really fun! I was in full concentration mode when Franca took these pics, but after making perfect spinach and egg ravioli, I was smiling to beat the band...I do believe there was even a high-five in there somewhere.
