Turtle shells are a coveted item on la playa. This one washed up in front of our casa a few days ago. The reality is, these beautiful creatures get tangled up in fishing nets and drown, which is how they end up on the beach. This turtle shell will be on display at our neighbours casa...once the vultures have picked it clean of course.
