Unfortunately drag net fishing is still going on and here is one of the casualties. This sperm whale got tangled in a net and drowned. He washed up on our beach about 6 weeks ago and in a matter of four days the whale was picked clean. He now resides at Tree Tops Bungalows and I have named him ‘Herman’…after Herman Melville.
